I started the month of February with a little challenge: sharing some great sugar-free, dairy-free and/or gluten-free dessert options for those of us on any type of special diet. Now I can’t believe how quickly the month has gone! That’s why I think it best to do a recap and end the month with some of my favorite healthy recipes from all over. The choices really are endless!
Let’s start off our salivating with these uh-mazing Healthy Avocado Brownies from Healthy Maven:
Anything with avocados is okay with me- especially in dessert form! This recipe calls for honey, but you can sub with the sweetener of your choice to make it truly sugar-free, like Stevia.
Next up, these oh-so-yum Paleo Almond Joy candies by Beaming Baker! What a treat!
I love good ole’ Almond Joys so finding a recipe that makes them healthy is well such a JOY! Again this recipe needs a tweak since it calls for maple syrup.
Next, I want to feature a delish Blueberry, Lemon Almond Cake by Green Kitchen Stories! Look at that beaut!
So so good! Maybe even birthday cake worthy!
Aaaand now how about some delicious Caramelized Banana Pecan Paleo Ice Cream by My Natural Family?? I know, it makes my mouth water too!
I love simple recipes with simple, easy to find ingredients – and this one is def one of those. It’s impossible to go without some good ice cream, but this recipe def makes up for it. 🙂

Phew! What a month full of good eats and sweet treats. I know that tomorrow is MARCH! Yay! Spring will be a springin’ soon and while I won’t feel much of a difference here in Guatemala (the land of eternal Spring), I’ll still have some great printables or DIY’s for us to try!
