New Years makeup looks

Christmas is done and over (tear) but now it’s time to look forward to something glittery and glam- New Years! Over the years I’ve done all sorts of stuff for new years from staying in for a cozy dinner to going all out and celebrating with firecrackers and cheer. This year though, I have a party. A fancy-shmancy partay where I get to wear gown and heels (which i’ll undoubtedly ditch even before the ball drops- the heels that is) and where I also get to pump up my makeup from my everyday look. I think that’s what I’m more excited about! So of course i’m scouring Pinterest for those New Years makeup looks that will go perfect with my outfit and - more importantly- that I’ll be able to recreate!

The Golden goddess:

I love me some gold! With my warmer skin tone, gold is just always a better fit for me. This one is fun since it also gives that night out smokey eye look.

The Pumped up Natural look:

Despite my attempt to try something way out of my ordinary and most importantly glittery- I still LOVE this look! It’s like the grown up version of the natural everyday look! That’s probably what I like most about it- it’s that natural but enthralling beauty!

And then you’ve got this:

The Blue-lagoon queen look:

I’ll be honest with you guys- this is the most OUT of the ordinary look for me! BUT I think I’m going to try this one!! The top that I am most likely going to wear is a glittery blue and this look would be great. I only hope I don’t come out looking like Mimi from the Drew Carey show:

Not kidding guys- there is a small chance that could happen… 🙁 I’ll keep you all posted though!
