Let’s be thankful for printables!

I seriously can’t believe it’s Thanksgiving season already- heck Thanksgiving is THIS WEEK! Has it snuck up on you too? If you’re like me you’re happy to feel a little cool weather and before you know it you’re roasting a turkey feeling all hot and sweaty again.

This Thanksgiving season is just a bit different for me, though. I’ve been in Guatemala for almost two months now and there definitely is NO Thanksgiving here! Once November 1 is over (All Saints Day), Guatemalan’s delve right into Christmas Season, no if’s about it. I’ve been almost ignoring the Christmas music and decorations going up around me because I’m a firm believer in keeping the “thanks” in Thanksgiving! Can I get an Amen?! That’s a difficult concept even in the States.

Every season I like to take time and truly write out what I am thankful for. I explore new ways to say the same thing (thankful for family turns into thankful for people that keep me humble) and I find different ways to remind myself to stay thankful not only during this season but throughout the rest of the year as well.
